We recently hosted a Superegg sound bath with Courtney Capazzi at Upper Limits Studio — an intimate and grounding experience that felt like a pause within the week. I’ve always been drawn to sound-based meditation; there’s something about the resonance of bowls and tones that settles both body and mind. To share that quiet with others who seek the same kind of wellness felt like a small gift, a reminder of how connection can be built through stillness.
Ever/Body — a ritual reset
I had my quarterly Hydrafacial at Ever/Body, this time with Emma at their Upper East Side location. It’s become a ritual I look forward to — a treatment that feels both gentle and effective. Exfoliating, hydrating, clarifying — it leaves skin noticeably smoother without downtime, the kind of reset that bridges everyday care with longer-term treatments. These small rhythms, done consistently, have a way of grounding me.
Genesis House — a forest, reimagined
At Genesis House, I previewed The Forest Within, a meditative installation created with Gwyneth Paltrow. Stepping into the Cellar Stage, the space had been transformed into a Korean forest: lush greenery, symbolic animals, and natural elements drawn from the Sobaek Mountains. It was immersive and quietly transportive — a reminder of how art and environment can shift our sense of presence, offering both escape and return.
